From the multifaceted Basel to the young and sparkling Freiburg, to the picturesque and elegant region of Alsace. These are just some of the stops on this tour in France, Germany and Switzerland: four days in an area full of suggestions, where different influences come together harmoniously.
From whichever airport you land,you will be picked by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for a relax
Our tour will begin from Freiburg, capital of the Black Forest. We walk in the ring-shaped historic center that encloses the main squares: Rathausplatz, with the Old and New Town Hall and the church of S. Martino, and Munsterplatz, with the Gothic cathedral in red limestone and the symbolic tower of the city. After free lunch we return to Basel and spend a couple of hours on a guided tour through the alleys and squares of the historic center, admiring the fountain with the curious works of Tinguely, the fourteenth-century Cathedral with the Porta di S. Gallo and the double Cloister, and the colorful Town Hall overlooking the Marktplatz. We have dinner in the evening
We begin today's excursion in the French region of Alsace with a visit on foot of the picturesque Colmar, a mosaic of canals, alleys and ancient half-timbered houses decorated with frescoes, flowers and sculptures, where the Petite Venise district and the “ tanneurs ”, the tanners. We continue to Strasbourg, the seat of the Council of Europe, and after lunch we enjoy the historic center on foot, visiting with our guide the Notre Dame Cathedral and the ancient district of "Petite France" with half-timbered houses and stork nests . Opportunity to participate in a relaxing boat ride along the canals of the city. Dinner awaits us on our return to Mulhouse.
Depending on time of your flight departure, We return from this trip to Germany, France and Switzerland. First, however, we stop on Lake Lucerne in Lucerne for free lunch and for a walk with the guide through the squares, fountains and ancient buildings of the old city, to discover the famous Kapellbruecke, the covered wooden bridge. We arrive in Milan via San Gottardo and Chiasso.
