Starting from Ponta Delgada, along the southern coast of the island of São Miguel you will arrive at the ancient volcanic crater that gave rise to the valley. After an immersion in the luxuriant nature, between lakes and hot springs, lunch will be based on the traditional Cozido nas Caldeiras, a sort of stew cooked in natural ovens. In the afternoon we will continue with the Botanical Garden where you can admire the exotic vegetation and, if you wish, bathe in the thermal pools.

The first stop is the Capelinho volcano, which you will reach by car or jeep: you will seem to have landed on the lunar soil, dotted with gray, red and black rocks overlooking the foaming ocean.
