Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Munich

When you arrive at the airport, our representative will transfer you to your hotel.
Depending on time of arrival, we may stroll along the streets of Bavaria experiencing your first visit to the Linderhof Castle, the real home of Ludwig II and the immense park. We have dinner in the evening.

Day 2 Munich - Prague

Let's get to the heart of our tour in Germany and visit with your guide the center of Munich, from the imposing Maximilianeum to the Koningsplatz with its neoclassical buildings and we walk through the pedestrian area admiring the Ducal Residence, the Cathedral and Marienplatz, the heart of the ancient city. Free lunch and then departure for Prague. On the way we stop in Pilzen to visit a brewery. Arrival in Prague in the evening, dinner and overnight

Day 3 Prague

We dedicate the day to visiting Prague: we start from Hradcany, the district of political power, where the Royal Castle of Bohemia, the Cathedral of St. Vitus and the Golden Lane rise (on the occasion of special religious anniversaries and without notice the complex closes to visits). Going down we find the Mala Strana district, where we see the Church of San Nicola. After the free lunch we continue on foot visiting the Church of Bambin Gesù, the Island of Kampa and the Charles Bridge. After dinner in the restaurant we take a pleasant evening walk with the guide.

Day 4 Prague - Saxon - Switzerland - Dresden

We start towards the Saxon Switzerland National Park, which offers some of the most spectacular landscapes in Germany. We stop at the Konigstein Fortress, of impressive size and located on the top of a mountain with a breathtaking view of the Elbe river and the valley. Free lunch. We continue to Bastei and its bridge on the rock, one of the most scenic and picturesque places in the park, and then, following the Painters' Path, we cross the suggestive landscape to Pillnitz. Arrival in Dresden in the evening for dinner.

Day 5 Dresden -Spreewald - Berlin

After breakfast, the guide accompanies us on a visit to Dresden and its main attractions: the Opera House, the grandiose Zwinger complex, the Hofkirche and Frauenkirche churches to end up on the panoramic terrace of Bruhl on the Elbe. Free lunch. We leave for Berlin through the Spreewald, the fairytale Spree Forest, a large wooded area crossed by hundreds of streams and stop in Lübbeanu for a short boat ride along one of these canals. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Berlin.

Day 6 Berlin

The whole day is dedicated to the guided tour of Berlin. We admire the exteriors of the main monuments of what were the eastern and western parts: Alexanderplatz, Gendarmenmarkt with the French and German Cathedral, the Unter der Linden avenue, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag. After lunch in the restaurant we continue the visit along Karl Marx avenue, the East Side Gallery (an original stretch of the Wall about 1 km long and painted by a hundred artists), Checkpoint Charlie, Kurfustendamm and finally Charlottenburg, to admire the facade of the splendid palace, symbol of the power of the Hohenzollern over Prussia. Free dinner.

Day 7 Berlin - Postderm - Nuremberg

We leave for Nuremberg and, continuing our journey to Germany, we stop in Potsdam, a city a few kilometers from Berlin, known as the "German Versailles" for the beauty of its noble residences. We walk in the Dutch Quarter, the most characteristic area of ​​the city, with the 17th century buildings designed by the Dutch architect Boumann. After the free lunch we continue the journey. We arrive in Nuremberg for dinner.

Day 8 Nuremberg - Munich

In the morning with the guide we visit the center of Nuremberg: we see the Castle, the Church of San Sebaldo, the Market square with the Baroque fountain and the exterior of the Congress Palace. Free lunch. Before leaving for Munich stop at the Nuremberg Processes Memorial or the Palace of Justice where the leaders of Nazism were sentenced from 20 November 1945 until 1 October 1946. Visit with audio guide of the "Room 600" where the hearings translated into four languages ​​simultaneously and of the exhibition. In the evening we celebrate the end of the trip with dinner in a traditional brewery.
