Perhaps linked to the mythical Atlantis, Madeira seduces with the pretty white houses of Funchal and the thatched houses of Santana, the splendid natural pools of Porto Moniz, and the characteristic cellars where you can taste the famous fortified wine that takes its name from the ‘island.
We land in Funchal and take advantage of free time for a first individual discovery of the capital of the island. The particular geographical position of Madeira and the characteristics of the territory give it an "eternal spring" climate, so much so that it is called the "garden of the Atlantic", for its infinite variety of flowers, trees, tropical fruits and vines. We have dinner in the evening.
