Acropolis has stood over the city for millennia with its marbled pillars that shimmer in the sun-set, while artists, tourists, archeologists and historians marvels around it.
Spend your time wandering amongst the ruins of grand temple or relax along the elite shores of the Athenian Riviera watching over a cool sun-set.
Upon arrival you will be picked and transfered by our representative to your hotel for a relax. Depending on time of arrival,you may stroll along the streets of Athens experiencing your first quick city glimpse.
The center of the city retains its remarkable history, which rises from beneath the layers of the modern city to crown the summit of the Acropolis with famous structures like the Parthenon. You can also walk along the edges of the Roman Agora, where restaurants and cafes typically fill the air with the aromas of walnuts and honey. The lingering scents may lead you to the image of Hadrian’s Library, which is visible from the street and whose foundations date back to the 2nd century AD.

We begin the guided tour of Athens from the Acropolis to admire the greatest masterpieces of Greek art: the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Theater of Dionysus. We then continue with Syntagma Square, the exterior of the Royal Palace, the temple of Jupiter and the Panathinaikos Stadium, Omonia Square and the National Museum.
After free lunch we have the afternoon at disposal, with the possibility of an optional excursion to the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion in the extreme southern tip of Attica or if time allows we may wind the day admiring the sun-set at the Sarronic Island .Once back in Athens we can choose between free dinner or an optional dinner in a fish restaurant, with a panoramic tour of the city by night.
